Super chill spot, at least when I came. Needed a quick smoothie and some computer time and came into Mudrakers. The place was spacious, clean and very quiet. I liked that the music was low enough to hear, but not too loud where I couldn't have a conversation.
The owner was nice and the smoothie was good.
I like their menu selections. I'll have to come back again and have a salad. -

Went here one morning to get breakfast for family staying at Alta Bates. There is one staff person who takes the money, makes the coffee & food. He was super impatient with me. There are only 2 cup sizes, small and large, I usually get a medium so I asked to see the cups and he waved to a spot where the cups were stacked, but i couldn't see them, and there's no sample at the cash register. And he was visibly grumpy when I walked over to see the cups. He was also impatient when I asked how many shots were in an iced Americano and what size cup that could come in. I ordered 3 coffees and pastries.
Then after paying he took 3 customers after me before starting to make my coffees. Coffees themselves were as expected and pastries were SemiFreddies which are good. -

All of the nice things that people say about the cafe are true, except the WiFi in the back is a little slow. I will upload a picture of the Speedtest.
I still come here all the time, but don't expect to be streaming YouTube videos. -

Quiet, friendly atmosphere. and there is good food that is affordable.
The shop owner is very kind and seems like a very good person.
I highly recommend. :) -

A group of three came into the shop and one of them ordered an iced coffee. The cafe was fairly empty, I think only four other people were there. After one of the three retrieved his drink, the owner of this shop promptly asked the group to leave because they were being "disruptive" and "taking up space" after they spent money in his establishment. I know it's not a big deal, but it was disrespectful and the kids didn't do anything. Whatever. Coffee is good. But make sure you don't sit when the business is empty and the owner is in a bad mood lol
